Throughout my career I have I have familiarized myself with the trailblazers and trendsetters of the luxury wedding industry. I’ve taken their courses, bought their books, fawned over their magazine articles and subscribed to their blogs. The stars of the luxury wedding market became stars because of their savvy business minds, creativity and desire to bring the best product to the market. I’ve taken all of the ideals to heart as I have set out on my own and launched my own luxury brand of wedding planning. While many admire these professionals from afar, only a few have the distinct honor of participating in a forum to learn from the crème de la crème on a personal level. Engage! presents an outstanding opportunity for business owners to continue to hone their business sense and cultivate creativity.
The Engage! Symposiums are held twice a year, open to a very limited audience at some of the most luxurious properties imaginable. In February, I applied for one of two scholarships awarded to attend one of the 2010 stops on this dynamic tour. Imagine my delight when I received a conference call from Kathryn Arce and Rebecca Grinnals of Engaging Concepts to reveal that I had been chosen from hundreds to attend. It was a moment in my career I will never forget. I am over the moon to have been selected and can not wait to share several days with the incredible line-up of Wedding Professionals that will both be speaking and attending.
I am extremely committed to educating myself on the idiosyncrasies of running a successful luxury brand from both a business and creative perspective. Engage! will afford me the priceless experiences necessary to hone these tools and I couldn’t be more grateful and excited for the opportunity.
