The Amelia Island Club Set the Scene for Gina and Taylor’s Destination Wedding!

There is no better place to begin a marriage than somewhere that you’ve shared great memories together as a couple and Amelia Island was that place for Gina and Taylor.

When I first met Gina and Taylor, they shared my passion for this little slice of paradise that I call home. Gina has vacationed here with her family for many years and it was love at first sight for Taylor as well! (for his bride and the island!) We were instant friends and quickly bonded over this place that we all cherish.

It is such a privilege to primarily work with destination couples. These real wedding weekends become a time to spend quality time with loved ones and everyone has an opportunity to unwind and relax in way that doesn’t happen as easily at home. Rather than the wedding being another weekend activity on the calendar, it becomes a complete vacation experience. Guests are able to easily slip into “island time” and enjoy this unique coastal setting! Arriving a day or two early with a champagne welcome, allows everyone to really celebrate and enjoy being together without the worries of everyday! I am thankful that Gina and Taylor allowed me and my team to be a part of this occasion.

The Omni, Amelia Island Plantation played hosts to the wedding guests and offers so many wonderful amenities and activities for couples and families. They have it all from the beach to the spa, best kayak and segway tours, great dining, shopping and wildlife without ever leaving the property.

Gina’s career in fashion and retail inspired a classic black and white, fashion forward design. With the help of the fabulous, Emily Burton, we incorporated geometric shapes and patterns to give the beach club a bold look. The ceremony backdrop is one of my favorites ever! Emily and I are still fighting over it for our homes.
