The Westin, Hilton Head provides the perfect backdrop for destination I-Do’s.
It was our pleasure to enjoy a few days at this gorgeous resort with vendors from all over the nation.
As the weather is getting cooler in Florida, (finally! and by cooler, I mean below 90 degrees) I am missing the bright sunny days spent in August at The Westin, Hilton Head Island. The resort, along with Mary Francis and her team at DFW Events, hosted a great group of wedding professionals from around the nation to enjoy and get to know this property from a guest’s perspective. Trips like these are always a wonderful treat and a great way to spend quality time with industry friends. This event did not disappoint!
After a great afternoon enjoying Savannah, we were off to Hilton Head Island. The southeastern coast is one of my favorite areas in the U.S and Hilton Head is a great showcase of everything low country. From sprawling marshland, to beautiful beaches, dolphins, birds, great southern cuisine, and of course a big dose of southern hospitality, we enjoyed surprises around every turn.
One of the many highlights for me was the El Shaddai choir that celebrated a mock ceremony with us on our first evening. They bring so much spirit and joy to any occasion and I LOVE THEM. I need them to follow me around for entrance and exit music.
The Westin, Hilton Head offers many options to brides and grooms in search of a place to host their loved ones for a fabulous destination wedding. No matter the size of your wedding, there is an appropriate venue with a great view. The spa is well appointed and a great way to relax with your ladies (and gentlemen) before your big day!
A special thank you to The Westin, Hilton Head and their fabulous team for treating us to their resort, feeding us delicious and creative cuisine, and allowing us several nights rest in their signature heavenly beds.
A special thank you to DFW Events for putting together a wonderful FAM, orchestrating many lovely details and of course, for always thinking of TOAST and TOAST of the Coast.
A special thank you to Kelli Corn for designing each event with so many personal touches that made us each feel special!
A special thank you to Jeremy Davis and Clay Johnson with The Fabulous Equinox Orchestra for entertaining us all as we danced our faces off and pretended you were Michael Buble. (even though you’d win a sing off with him any day!)
A special thank you to Donna Von Bruening for following us around like our biggest fan to capture all of these moments and beautiful details, for deleting the pictures that don’t represent us well and for being a great friend and supporter!
A special thank you to Khoi Pham for this awesome video that I have watched repeatedly and for sacrificing yourself for the shot! (not that you fell down or anything!)
Happy Friday Friends!
