An elegant fall wedding at the beautiful Belle Meade Plantation in Nashville, Tennessee.
Sara and Chad said ‘I Do’ in Belle Meade Plantation’s boxwood gardens on land that has witnessed centuries of history. Surrounded by grand oak and maple trees, the bride carried a tear drop bouquet, filled with ivory hydrangeas and garden roses and blush spray roses accented with white lisianthus and seeded eucalyptus. Her bridesmaids wore soft pink chiffon dresses from Bella Bridesmaids and the groomsmen donned socks representing their home states hidden under their classic black tuxedos. The weather could not have been more perfect allowing for warm sunlight to trickle through the trees.
This wedding was full of unique details telling the story of our Bride and Groom…from Chad’s hometown Tennessee socks, to the Goo Goo Cluster late night treats, to the welcome boxes filled with the Bride and Groom’s favorite things, to the University of Alabama cookies and shaker send off, an ode to where they met.
These two families care so much for each other and Chad and Sara’s love for one another is so apparent and infectious. After the touching ceremony performed by the Bride’s family minister, guests were invited to the cocktail lawn, where they enjoyed drinks, games and live music. After a few rounds of bocci ball, they were escorted through the stables into the carriage house. Waiting were farm tables covered in florals and mercury glass votives, surrounded by ivory draping and lounge furniture, setting the mood for a romantic, cozy and fun reception.
They danced the night away under market string lights and specialty chandeliers made from ladders and Edison lights that fit the rustic stables perfectly. Sara and Chad made their grand exit from Belle Meade Plantation under a sea of Alabama shakers and into a vintage Rolls Royce that took them to the airport where they boarded their own private jet to their honeymoon.

It was a perfect fall day in Nashville. But what made the entire weekend for me and my husband even more perfect was the freedom to enjoy the time with family, friends and the bride and groom. This would not have been the case if it had not been for the detail and perfect planning of Kasey and Lindsay. We live in Atlanta and the bride and groom in Nashville. Kasey assisted our daughter Sara with choosing local vendors, securing contracts and all the logistics of the event. She met with Sara and Chad several times to make sure the day was just what they wanted. They were with Sara and the bridesmaids from the morning of the wedding until the very end of the night. Amazing is all I can say. Thank you Toast for making the entire process so enjoyable for our family.
