Lindsay Sims

The Toastess with the Mostess  :: Atlanta

After a nudge from a college friend that she should consider a career as a professional party planner, Lindsay moved to Atlanta and jumped into the event industry. TOAST was imagined by Lindsay, back in 2006, after observing the absence of a luxury wedding planning company in Atlanta. While working as the Social Director of the prestigious Atlanta Athletic Club, Lindsay whet her wedding palette, by planning the weddings for several club members.   Soon after, TOAST was created and Lindsay began planning impeccable weddings full-time. Lindsay has spent 16 years procuring and working with Atlanta’s most elite and capable vendors, and will bring these valuable partnerships to you when planning your event. Lindsay has received many awards and accolades for her planning, most recently named a top planner in the United States by  Martha Stewart Weddings and top planner in the World by Vogue, and one of the Best Planners in the South by Southern Living Magazine.   In 2015, Lindsay enjoyed being on the other side of the veil as she planned her own wedding to Brian!

“I am so fortunate to wake up each day to do a job I not only love, but I believe I was destined to do. I thrive on pulling together every last detail of a wedding to truly capture the essence of you as a couple. No two weddings are ever alike, and I love the chance to re-imagine Southern traditions and create a classic, yet contemporary wedding style. I believe this journey should be fun, and look forward to having a ball getting to know you and designing the wedding around that!” — Lindsay

Kerri Stegherr

Wedding Planner :: Atlanta

With over decade of luxury social event experience, Kerri Stegherr is living her lifelong dream.  Long before the days of planning, Kerri enjoyed meeting people through the art of celebrations.  After graduating from Auburn University with a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Kerri moved to Atlanta to work with The Four Seasons. The most informative years were spent there, working her way up through Food and Beverage Operations then eventually to the Catering & Sales department.  Five years later, Kerri accepted an opportunity with Robert Long Flora to become skilled in another area of special events; event design, decor and production.  Before coming to TOAST, Kerri spent seven years as Social Catering Manager at InterContinental Buckhead. Here, she coordinated events ranging from weddings, galas and non-profit events. Kerri joined TOAST as Atlanta’s second full-time wedding planner/producer in 2014. Kerri’s existing relationships, Southern charm and encouraging demeanor, makes her an  invaluable asset to TOAST!

“The greatest reward of planning an event is getting to know the families.  I love creating events that are unique to that couple.  I enjoy telling their story…who they are, where they came from and where they are going.  It truly is an honor to be a part of the best moment in so many lives!”   Kerri

Nicki Korman

TOAST of the Coast :: Amelia Island

A true southern girl, from Waycross, Ga, Nicki has been in the event industry for ten years.  She had the privilege of beginning her career at the Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island, where she interned during the summers in college. The Ritz taught her true professionalism and a standard of service that is unparalleled.  After five amazing summers and college graduation, Nicki began working at Bold American Events in Atlanta. Bold is a full-service catering and design company, where she spent 4 years working with brides to customize fun and memorable wedding menus. At Bold, she not only gained food and beverage expertise, but also partnered closely with designers and other creative partners to produce innovative and cohesive events. In 2014, Marriage brought Nicki back to Amelia Island, where she met her husband, Jon, through working together at the Ritz-Carlton years prior.  After partnering with Lindsay of TOAST Events for many years in Atlanta, this was the perfect opportunity to expand TOAST to the coastal region.  She could not be happier to be back at the beach and to be running TOAST of the Coast, producing events from Charleston to St. Augustine!

Kasey Schaffer

TOAST of Tennessee  ::    Nashville, Tennessee

Our Nashville Toastess has been planning weddings in Music City since early 2015. Kasey imagined being a wedding planner since she was a young girl, and much like Lindsay, found her passion for planning parties through her sorority and college involvement. Upon graduating from the University of Georgia, she set up roots in Nashville, Tennessee, her favorite city! Kasey hit the ground running, planning events in the Music Industry for three years. Here, she honed her skills in problem-solving, organization, event design and venue management. Kasey’s sweet and calming demeanor makes her a perfect fit for brides. We first met Kasey as the doting maid of honor at a TOAST wedding ,and were immediately impressed by her attentiveness and clear knack for this business. Equally, Kasey was taken by the TOAST events team and hired Nicki to plan her wedding in Amelia Island. Both of those experiences led Kasey to believe that TOAST was a perfect family for her and is thrilled to be the  TOASTess in Tennessee. Kasey has sharpened her planning skills by assisting on many high-profile TOAST weddings in Atlanta, and has planned an impressive collection of Nashville events!

“I feel as if this is something I was born to do and being able to meet so many wonderful couples and families along the way is such a cherry on top! I adore celebrating love in so many different capacities. Each day is filled with new friendships, imagination and fun. We are very lucky to have the best brides in the world and to collaborate with each to create the wedding of their dreams” – Kasey

After living in Tokyo, England, Colorado, and Washington, D.C., Hannah was thrilled when her world travels landed her in Atlanta with the TOAST family! Most recently a non-profit conference planner, Hannah’s enthusiasm and love of lists and spreadsheets makes her a strong TOAST asset! Moreover, Hannah brings with her valuable and diverse experience in marketing, social media, and design.

Andrea Wilson

Wedding Manager :: TOAST of the Coast

When she stepped off the elevator at The Georgian Club in Atlanta over a decade ago, Andrea never expected she’d be walking into a profession that would become her passion. She began her career as the Event Services Director and credits her professionalism, service expectations, ability to handle multiple events simultaneously and ability to work under pressure to her years there. During her tenure she had the opportunity to plan a range events; from wine dinners and member galas to weddings and rehearsal dinners. When the opportunity arose to become the Assistant General Manager of the club, Andrea seized the opportunity but quickly realized that she would lose the part her heart was in, weddings. At that point, she did what any normal person would do, she managed both. As the Assistant General Manager, she learned the intricate details of managing both front and back of the house operations, including budgeting, ordering, inventory and overall venue management. In 2014, after her son was born, she stepped away from the club to focus on family and took an opportunity to work from home as a Travel Agent, specializing in honeymoons and destination weddings. After a move to Amelia Island in 2015, Andrea crossed paths with Nicki through mutual friends and jumped on the chance to get back into wedding planning with TOAST of the Coast. She is incredibly excited to be doing what she felt she was meant to do and cannot wait to help you plan your dream coastal wedding!

“I love what I do because of the bonds we get to form with couples and their families, it is unlike any other. We are so fortunate to be able to walk such an important milestone with them and watching it all come together throughout the planning process and the day of is the greatest reward!” – Andrea
